Stephen Iacovelli is a senior technology leader with more than 35 years of experience in enterprise IT, digital transformation, and strategic integration. He works with executive teams to align emerging technologies, including AI, with mission, governance, and operational execution. A retired U.S. Army Brigadier General, he led complex organizations and developed leaders in high stakes environments. He is also the Immediate Past President of the North Carolina Executive Roundtable, a peer forum for senior executives. As an advisor to Furman University’s Strategic AI Certificate program, Stephen brings a practical, leadership-focused perspective on how organizations can adopt AI thoughtfully, responsibly, and in ways that drive measurable impact. He holds a Master of Science in Information Systems and a Master of Strategic Studies, blending deep technical expertise with high-level strategic insight.
